Professor Greg Whyte is the preemminent authority on Exercise Physiology and Sports Performance and Rehabilitation in the UK. An internationally recognised expert in the area, Greg has extensive professional experience assessing, treating and improving the performance of athletes and sporting enthusiast ranging from celebrities attempting their first mountain summit to gold medal Olympians.
Since graduating in Medicine in 1985, Mike
has become one of the leading and most influential sports medics in the UK.
He has travelled extensively with
national squads, accompanying teams to Olympic and Commonwealth Games, World
and European Championships.
He is the Chief Medical Officer for the
Commonwealth Games. Mike is active in various fields of sport and exercise
medicine research and has published work on various aspects of SEM.

Dr
Richard Budgett is Chief Medical Officer for the London 2012 Olympic and
Paralympic Games. He was Director of Medical Services for the British Olympic
Association from 1994 to 2007 and has been Chief Medical Officer with Team GB at
six summer and winter Olympic Games and then a member of the IOC Medical
Commission in Beijing
in 2008. He won an Olympic Gold Medal in the Coxed Four in Los Angeles in 1984!

Nigel has a
number of subspecialty interests including Sports Cardiology and he
was the Consultant Cardiologist to the CRY Centre for Sports Cardiology
at the Olympic Medical Institute from 2001-9 providing unique national
resource of specialist evaluation for athletes with cardiac disorders.
In addition, Nigel has a significant interest in interventional
cardiology.
Nigel sees patients at 76 Harley Street as part of the Sports Cardiology Clinic on Wednesday afternoons.
Jim is 76’s cardio-respiratory performance lab manager heading up our
Exercise Physiology services. Jim is a lecturer at UCL and scientist on
the Xtreme Everest expedition looking into how extreme conditions
affect performance, survival, and longevity. Jim runs our physiological
fitness programmes and pre-operative (CPEX) testing at 76.
Alessandro is our Clinical Nutritionist. A native Italian and graduate of the Institute of Optimum Nutrition, healthy eating has always been central to Alessandro's life. Lecturer to the UK's leading nutritional colleges, Alessandro's work is at the cutting edge of nutritional science. Prior to your first consultation with Alessandro, you will be asked to complete a comprehensive and detailed questionnaire and food diary.
